Thanking and Recognizing Your Contributors

Be creative when thanking and recognizing the people who contribute to your RONA MS Bike Tour. If they feel that their gift was appreciated they probably will be more likely to give year after year.

Here are some ideas for thanking and recognizing your sponsors:

• Send a thank you letter immediately after the event and provide details of your adventure. Include a photo if possible.
  

• Make your top sponsor an honorary member of your Team or experience. Give your sponsor a Team t-shirt, and invite them to Team parties.
  

• Print your sponsors' name and/or company logos' in a thank you newsletter to be sent to all of your contributors.
  

• Print your top contributors names on your Team t-shirt.
  

• Host a dinner party for your top contributors.
  

• Hang a sign or send an email at work that thanks your co-workers who made a donation. Or, offer refreshments in the conference room to thank co-workers.
  

• Keep your contributors informed of your fundraising total, and let them know how that dollar amount will impact the lives of people living with MS.
