There are many ways you can get involved with the MS Global Dinner Party. Here’s how:

Host an event

Individual supporters – people just like you – contribute to the success of the MS Society of Canada. We are very fortunate to have many individual hosts and donors whose efforts help spread awareness about multiple sclerosis and raise needed funds for research in Canada and abroad. Get started now.

Involve the community

Consider approaching your community, government, professional or religious organizations about participating in or hosting an MS Global Dinner Party event. Many may share your concern and willingness to join the fight to end MS and have resources available to assist with your fundraising event.

Bring the event to work

On average, we spend a quarter of our lives at work; many of our co-workers are friends. Invite these people to join your efforts to raise awareness and funds for MS research by holding an event that benefits the MS Global Dinner Party at your place of business.

At school

The MS Society of Canada values the enthusiasm and commitment of students and educators to aid in our mission. We can offer opportunities for students and staff to become better educated about multiple sclerosis and helpful tools to plan an MS Global Dinner Party event. Contact us for more information.

Other ways to help

There are many ways to help in addition to having a party. Check out these ideas and let us know if you’re interested by sending us an e-mail at globaldinnerparty@mssociety.ca.

  • Consider making a donation to the MS Global Dinner Party to present as a unique gift the next time you attend any party or celebration. Click here to download a gift donation card.

  • Help us build public awareness. If you work for, or have a friend that works for a newspaper or magazine, ask if they have space for an MS Global Dinner Party print ad in an upcoming edition.

  • Are you involved with a company or organization that would like to partner with the MS Global Dinner Party? We’d love to hear from you.

  • Do you run a food service or offer cooking classes? Maybe you’d like to host a party at your place of business or turn a class into an MS Global Dinner Party fundraising event.

  • Do you work at or own a restaurant? Know someone who does? On the last Saturday in February (or any day that works best) restaurants can join the fight to end MS by choosing to donate a percentage of sales on that day, or include a special insert with every bill for customers to take away and consider making a donation. The MS Society of Canada will supply everything required, including promotional tools.

  • Are you interested in becoming a supporter or spokesperson for the MS Global Dinner Party?

  • Do you have your own web site? Would you consider including a link to the MS Global Dinner Party on your site? Please send us a note about your site with the address.
