Stem Cells and the Multiple Sclerosis Summit

What is the promise of stem cell research in relation to multiple sclerosis? From January 16 –19th, 2007, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (U.S.A.) and Multiple Sclerosis International Federation, with support from the MS Society of Canada, explored this issue by hosting a stem cell summit in San Francisco for international experts in the field. The participants of this summit came together in a collaborative effort to better understand the promise of stem cell research in multiple sclerosis and map out next steps to ensure all meaningful avenues of MS research are pursued.
