Stem Cells and the Multiple Sclerosis Summit

What is the promise of stem cell research in relation to multiple sclerosis? From January 16 –19^th, 2007, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (U.S.A.) and Multiple Sclerosis International Federation, with support from the MS Society of Canada, explored this issue by hosting a stem cell summit in San Francisco for international experts in the field. The participants of this summit came together in a collaborative effort to better understand the promise of stem cell research in multiple sclerosis and map out next steps to ensure all meaningful avenues of MS research are pursued.
