Social Action

The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada works with people who have MS to ensure they have the opportunity to participate fully in all aspects of life. Volunteers across the country endeavour to change government policies, private industry practices and public attitudes in ways that will benefit people with MS.

What we do and who we are

The National Government Relations Committee was established in 1987 to provide advice to the National Board of Directors on national government relations and social action issues affecting people with MS and their family members. The committee is comprised of MS Society members from across the country, most of whom have MS. The committee chair reports regularly on behalf of the committee to the National Board of Directors on matters requiring action.

The members of the National Government Relations Committee are:
