TeamMS - Do it as a team!
Whether
your're Walking in the Enerflex MS Walk, riding in one
of the RONA MS Bike Tours, or golfing in the The Brick MS Drive Fore A Cure, it's more fun doing it as a team. The best
part is, TeamMS is here to help. We provide everything
you need to create a fun-filled team of people you'd
like to Walk, ride or golf with - family, friends, co-workers,
hockey buddies, book club members - you get the idea.
Experience the camaraderie and excitement of TeamMS while
helping us end MS!
Creating
a team is simple. All you need is minimum of four team members including
a team captain, and a cool team name. Then register in the RONA
MS Bike Tour, the Enerflex MS Walk,
or the The Brick MS Drive Fore A Cure.
Our dedicated
TeamMS staff are here for you. We know you're busy so we want to make
it as easy as possible for you to create and maintain a winning team.
We'll help you:
- establish your team's goals, plans and activities;
- register your team;
- set (and
beat) recruitment and fundraising efforts. We'll provide a Team Captain's
Handbook full of hints, tips and advice.
Team Captain Pub Night
On Tuesday March 4, 2008 nearly 40 Team Captains and teammates from a number of MS fundraising events came out to O’Byrne’s Irish Pub to share their stories, fundraising ideas and enjoy some good brew and munchies too!
Groups were given different scenarios that are common problems for all fundraisers and asked to come up with ways to solve them. Check out what our teams came up with.
